Each of the poems are offered in both English and the original Spanish, either to a single page or on facing pages. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA wonderful collection of poems by Pablo Neruda, containing two photographs, one a portrait of the poet by Hans Ehrman. The facsimile note to the rear reads: “I am arriving in London on the 1st or 2nd July invited by Ted Hughes. Will be 10 days. Hope to see you every one of them. Always, Pablo”. The title poem explores Neruda’s sense of self, and the many facets of a single man.
